Performance of Top 5 Travel and Local Apps in Tunisia - Q1 2022

During the first quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five travel and local apps in Tunisia showcased varied trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how these apps fared:

Google Earth saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with around 4.3K downloads, the app experienced a dip mid-January to approximately 2.9K downloads but rebounded in February, peaking at 5.7K in the last week of the month. Weekly active users for the app also showed a positive trend, increasing from about 32.5K at the beginning of January to around 38K by the end of February.

Safarway exhibited significant volatility in its download numbers. The app started strong with a peak of 7.1K downloads in mid-January but saw a decline to just over 1.2K downloads by the end of March. Correspondingly, weekly active users mirrored this trend, rising to 5.2K mid-January before dropping to around 1.3K by the end of the quarter.

Live Earth Map 3D showed a dramatic increase in downloads towards the latter part of the quarter. Downloads surged from negligible numbers in January to an impressive 11.3K in mid-March. Active users followed suit, increasing from around 3K in early March to over 9.4K by mid-March.
